Hold onto your smuggled shipment of biochips, because Redline is the Greatest Movie EVER!
Review in a Nutshell: Tibor Takacs’s answer to Blade Runner. Nuff said.
This movie contains:
Experimental Brain Surgery.
The gun from RoboCop.
Come on, we all know what Virtual Reality would really be used for…
Homoerotic Turkish Baths.
Seriously, Mark, you don’t know where that navel has been…
COMING SOON!
Even more Mark Dacascos goodness in the month of November!
Only the strong could make it this far…
I must admit that my Russian accent is straight out of Battlezone for the PC.
I am content.
Bah, I wish I could amend my posts, or teach myself to think before pressing the Submit button. Tibor Takacs is Canadian — in fact, he directed the single most successful Canadian film of all time (The Gate).
The Hunt for Eagle One is OK. It’s a pretty straight forward “my military helicopter crashed in enemy territory, and now we have to fight our way back” movie. Hauer spends most of the movie sitting in front of a radio back at base camp.
Hauer and Dacascos also appear together in Scorchers, where I think they save us from global warming, as will happen in real life.
This should be next
I wonder if a movie will ever come out that will solve the debate of what is the cooler evil twin accessory? Goatee? or eye patch? or what about an eye patch AND a goatee?
