Review in a Nutshell: Perhaps it was in questionable taste to release a review of a violent, supernatural horror movie filled with druids and dark magic on Easter Sunday…

Warlock: The Armageddon
Nope, Paul – I think it’s genius!
I just wish I wasn’t traveling so I Tammy and I could hear it now.
Great choice! On one hand, The Ten Commandments is the traditional Easter picture and I don’t miss it,but this is an excellent choice. I hope you guys get to do the first Warlock picture at some point.
I think you might get a kick out of this: http://youtu.be/gNiM5t3FMGc
My most vivid memory about this film is not the film itself but rather the Sega Genesis game, which had a game mechanic built entirely around the baseball. Very strange.
The Alice In Wonderland film that Sean mentions is a movie that I remember from childhood, particularly due to the Jabberwocky that scared the living crap out of me when I was young. Now, it seems ridiculous, because it’s clearly a guy in a costume, and the face of the creature never actually moves.
That alice in wonderland Jabberwocky really creeped me out too! I only saw part of that movie as a child, but the image of that creature stalking alice though the woods stuck with me. I had the same reaction to alice being trapped in the mirror world as Sean did. What ever happened to the truly terrifiing and phycologically damaging children stories I grew up with? * sigh* On a somewhat related note, although Paul prob wont review it, I just watch a creepy film from Finland called Rare Exports. Santa Clause is unearthed from an ancient tomb… the ending.. all I could say was wow. look up the trailer its awesome.
The first WARLOCK picture is actually fairly good – at least, Tammy and I enjoyed it and thought it was worth watching.
