How Mr. Miyagi Got His Groove Back

Watch out for flying net hooks, because The Karate Kid, Part II is the Greatest Movie EVER!

Click on the DVD cover or the title above to download our review of the film, featuring Sean “Hollywood” Hunting.

Review in a Nutshell:  Although the details of the first three Karate Kid films are hopelessly muddled in our heads, we still enjoyed this entry in the series, which focuses even more on Mr. Miyagi’s character.

Curse you, ice blocks!

  1. David says:

“The tea ceremony is a semaphore for sex.” I think you mean metaphor, unless you’re saying that the tea ceremony involves waving flags.

  2. gooberzilla says:

No, I meant semaphore. Semaphore isn’t exclusively flag-signalling. It has a broader meaning of something signaled visually.

  3. Edmund says:

This installment really made me laugh, I got a kick out of listening to you two trying to figure out which scene was from what movie, But I remember Pat Morita did do a comedy, he used to play Arnold on Happy Days. He was the original owner of the burger place.

  4. kaminski says:

I really enjoyed this one. Hoping you do Karate Kid 3 soon…

  5. Keith says:

I didn’t even remember there was a Karate Kid 3. I do remember that after the original Karate Kid, a friend and I used to organize underground karate fights in the locker room at the local pool. We were around 12 or 13 years old. The average combatant was around 9. We bet fruit flavored Mentos on the outcomes. Why isn’t this the plot to a Karate Kid movie?

  6. Chris says:

I thought Tamlyn Tomita was one of the prettiest girls I had ever seen when I was a kid. And you guys thought she had a big forehead…. hmm.
