Review in a Nutshell: Despite a few odd directorial flourishes, Firefox is an entertaining hybrid of Cold war espionage and high-tech aviation. Unfortunately, Clint Eastwood’s shell-shocked protagonist isn’t as engaging as the other supporting characters.

FIREFOX was – interesting, Paul. Kind of Dirty Harry Goes STAR WARS, even though it was set in the present day/near future during the last flare-up of The Cold War. I think Eastwood spent more money on it than he’d spent on any other movie, thanks largely to the then state-of-the-art F/X work….
Quite possibly the greatest browser ever.
