Australians Always Observe Proper Helmet Safety.

Wear your color coordinated helmets, because BMX Bandits is the Greatest Movie EVER!

Review in a Nutshell: This is an odd one. It’s a carefree children’s adventure movie filmed by a pioneer of violent, trashy Oz-ploitation flicks. BMX Bandits takes a while to deliver the bicycle-related goods and some of the stunts may seem tame by today’s standards, but overall this is a harmless kid’s movie filled with snarky, wise-cracking Australians.

BMX Bandits came out in 1983.

    I don’t remember it.

Woh-woh-woh. Dead End Drive-In isn’t a slasher movie. That poster might look like it, but it’s another dystopian tale like Turkey Shoot. It’s about a drive-in turned concentration camp for punks to solve Australia’s crime and unemployment problems…

  5. gooberzilla says:

    My bad. I stand corrected.

    Yay, MOM’s back!

Yeah, this seems right in your and her wheelhouse, Paul – well, except for movies about Giant Japanese Monsters….

  7. Thought I already dropped this over on your PB page Paul, I thought I’d stick in my two cents here and suggest anyone check out another Ozploitation flick of my youth called “The Quest” (a.k.a. “Frog Dreaming”)….
