COMING SOON!
Yes, those are the cleansing waters of Lake Minnetonka.
I wonder what color the rain is there?
Wow…two movies in a row that I was unaware of. But, since I’m not normally a Japanese Cyber Punk fan, I guess that’s understandable. Even netflix doesn’t have this baby in stock.
And, next time? Purple Rain! I think I just shed some tears–TEARS OF JOY!
Can’t wait to hear it.
Having Steve Harrison and Tim Eldred on as guest hosts was an unexpected but much welcomed surprise.
I’m glad Tim mentioned the soundtrack, because if he hadn’t I certainly would’ve brought it up.
Bit of trivia: the industrial music band Front Line Assembly used footage from Gunhed for the “Mindphaser” music video back in 1992, off the Tactical Neural Implant album.
Hearing about what use to be a tradition in Japanese cinema with a guy on the side explaining things sounds like something I noticed Eastern Europe did a lot with foreign movies and TV programs were very often they use a “lector” to translate what was said in during the program. These people don’t seem to have much use for subtitles or proper dubbing in their societies.

The side subtitle thing done in Gunhed reminded me of a segment in “Robot Carnival” where a character that spoke English had the same thing occur as well during his dialogue.
