Commando 2.0

The Greatest Movie EVER!

The Vengeful Ghost of the Big Month of Mark rears its ugly head, and

The Base is the Greatest Movie EVER!

No show notes. No DVD. Sorry. 😦

  1. sparkles says:

Wow you pulled this one out of thin air!
    Great Podcast, and thank you!

  2. Firest says:

Great podcast of a movie I’d never heard of, I’ll have to look it up now.

Will the new Iron Chef America be part of the Big Month of Mark?

  3. Eduardo M. says:

I think the term “spook” is only applied to CIA. I believe there is another term used of someone is just in the intelligence biz but i forgot what it was.

  4. Daryl Surat says:

Regrettably, Mark L. Lester’s followup to The Base, The Base 2: Guilty as Charged, does not star Mark Dacascos.

What makes this podcast excellent and hilariously awkward is the fact that you’re sitting there with your mom talking about things like how to count one’s testicles as well as the reason why you know the strippers aren’t the genuine article. At the rate that was going, I was half expecting a conversation to ensue regarding what was on everyone’s shopping lists for the 50% clearance sales at the local porn shop.

For maximum awkwardness, Paul’s list would have to consist entirely of titles containing the term “MILF.” If Adam Herz and John Cho had the foresight to trademark that sucker they’d be multimillionaires. Well, more so anyway.

  5. kaiki says:

Is anyone else waiting for the podcast of the 90’s answer to Commando in the form of The Substitute starring Tom Berenger?

  6. Eduardo M. says:

ah yes, because every podcast needs at least one movie featuring an evil Ernie Hudson.

  7. Firest says:

I didn’t start enjoying the Substitute series until Treat Williams took over the roll. But then, any movie starring Treat Williams is The Greatest Movie Ever.

  8. Ian Strope says:

Is Sully in this? Back to life with cyborg enhancements?

  9. Kidder says:

Seeing as it is the month of Mark, I fully expect you to do Crying Freeman. Otherwise expect Koike smash!

  10. Tim Abell says:

Nice job! Quite enjoyed the audio review. You and your Mom work well together. Glad your Mom liked the ‘Three Things” line.
Mark is an outstanding individual. Nicest guy. We did two films together. ( The Base & Instinct to Kill) Looking for a third.

Best to you and your Mom.

    Tim Abell

  11. Marilyn Chapman says:

Message to Tim Abell – Thank you for your kind comments. I have added Instinct to Kill to my Netflix account. I am sure it is The Greatest Movie Ever! M.O.M>
