We Live to Rock!

Get ready to tune your weapons, because Rock ‘n’ Roll Nightmare is the Greatest Movie EVER!

Click on the movie poster or the title above to download our review of the film.

Review in a Nutshell:  Rock ‘n’ Roll Nightmare is an astounding combination of eighties metal, demonic horror, and a third secret ingredient that makes this movie a low-budget mind-blower.  Do not miss this film!

ERRATA:  Jon Mikl Thor was in a movie called Zombie Nightmare, not “Zombie Massacre”, and he was on the Merv Griffin Show, not the Johnny Carson Show.  We needed to clear that up.

This film contains:

The Eighties.

WTF?

FINAL THOUGHT:

WE LIVE TO ROCK!

as someone who watches Metalocaplypse will I enjoy this movie?

I prefer katherine’s way of saying “grrr”

As for uploading podcasts, you should try to shoot for one a week but if you can only do 2 a month then thats ok. Its understandable that things like work and the distance between you and a co-host may play into things so its understandable if there’s a lag time.

All this talk about dopplegangers is making me miss your old dopplganger laugh sound effect. BRING IT BACK!!! I know people have apparently said the sound effects were goofy but DAMMIT this is a fun podcast! BRING BACK THE SOUND EFFECTS!! BRING BACK THE SOUND EFFECTS!!!!!

  2. Joseph says:

I would absolutely love it if you put a podcast up every week. I realize that’s probably not realistic because you don’t live to make me podcasts for my amusement. One every couple of weeks would be fine.

  3. Ian says:

So then these guys use the power of rock to fight monsters and demons? Kind of like Damn Yankees used it to fight off the cops in that cabin in the woods?

  4. Duane says:

I’ve seen the MST3K edition of Zombie Nightmare, which is available streaming from Netflix. I had no idea who John Mikl Thor was, although I’m sure they made some jokes about that that I just didn’t get. I’ll have to watch it again now that I know a little more about him.

  5. Keith says:

If you need the complete recordings of Thor, or the An-Thor-logy as it’s known, I have you covered. Sadly

  6. Eduardo M. says:

Its seriously called An-Thor-ology? Oh my God. I don’t know whether to think that totally awesome or incredibly sad.

  7. gooberzilla says:

I would expect nothing less from Thor and his Thor-chestra.

The Zombie Nightmare episode of MST3K on Netflix is great viewing entertainment. In addition to Jon Mikl Thor, the movie contains Adam West and a young Tia Carrere.

  8. Eduardo M. says:

You had me at young Tia Carrere. hell, just say Tia Carrere and I’m sold

  9. Amanda says:

Wow… you were right about those final ten minutes. I think I’m going to make my boyfriend watch the end of this just because…. well, just because.
Have you ever seen the movie ThanksKilling? This movie reminded me of Thankskilling, as they both feature horrible acting, a nonsensical plot, terrible puppetry, etc. And like RnR Nightmare it truly has to be seen to be believed.

  10. Thank you so much for encouraging me to watch the ending unspoiled. I just finished the movie and was thoroughly blown away! Downloading the soundtrack from iTunes now if anyone’s interested, only $5.99 (credited to Thor, not Tritonz).

  11. gooberzilla says:

Yeah, Black Roses is in my Netflix queue.
