Watch out for gray-painted super soldiers, because Far Cry is the Greatest Movie EVER!
Click on the movie poster or the title above to download our review of the film, featuring Jeff “Rich Lather” Tatarek of the Lather’s Blather Podcast.
Review in a Nutshell: Filled with solid action sequences crippled by incompetent camerawork and bad editing, Far Cry is half good film, half Uwe Boll disaster. On the other hand, did you see that freaking chopper explode?

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG :O
Will do GZ, sorry about that 🙂
No problem, kaiki. I just don’t feel that it’s appropriate for every post. Thanks for understanding.
I like that the makers of the poster art felt that TIL SCHWEIGER was enough of a draw to justify any sort of billing. They didn’t even say “You know, he was in Inglorious Basterds!”
Glad you reviewed this one. I had no idea it was out there, so busy was I trying to keep track of all of Dr. Boll’s recent concentration camp movies. Which reminds me, I need to watch Bloodrayne 3 this week…
@Keith here is my review of BR3 from a few podcasts ago.
“It is a campy film with Clint Howard as a main villain, nazis, vampires, vampires-nazis AND nazi-vampires. The cinematography is fun to watch and is more enjoyable then House of the Dead. The movie starts with a gun battle and ends with a gun battle. The only other thing that could possibly convince you, it’s the only Uwe Boll film(that I know of) that has a convincingly gory & enjoyable shot of a man’s head exploding due to a rifle round. It must be watched.”
I’m reading this correctly? Does the bottom of the poster say the movie came out on 9-11???
Geez, another Uwe Bol flick waiting to be watched on netflix instant. Gooberzilla, while you reviewed this film how about going all out and review Rampage & Postal? Rampage was a bit beareable to watch.
I don’t think that’s what it means…and in any case the movie came out in October ’08.
I actually enjoyed the film. Its probably my favorite Uwe Boll film. This is most likely due to the fact that I watched ‘Postal’ immediately before watching Far Cry. 🙂
Thanks for the review, Gooberzilla!
