Beware of exploding wine bottles, because Death Wish 4: The Crackdown is the Greatest Movie EVER!
Click on the movie poster or the title above to download our review of the film,

Review in a Nutshell: Few action movies encapsulate the anti-drug anxieties of the Eighties quite like Death Wish 4: The Crackdown, which also features roller skating arcades, fish-smuggling, and multiple exploding villains.
Bronson’s first appearance on GME! It’s a momentous occasion.
Keith – yeah, it is, isn’t it? Amazing Paul’s gone so long without a Bronson movie….
“It’s Those Damned Drugs!”
huh. yeah it is weird it took Bronson this long to join the ranks of GME actors.
(shrug) whatever. he’s here now.
Were I a better (worse?) person, I would photoshop a picture of Arnold Schwrzenegger saying “It’s not a tuna.”
god damn. this is one of the very many 80s films that I watched. I don’t know why but I am a really 80s and 90s guy when it comes to these stuff.
Also:
VIGILANTISM RULES!!!
Awesome Bronson impersonation, Olie.
…this means i need to see death wish 1 – 3 now…
Your across the pond co-host does a great Bronson impression. I’m impressed
colmwryan – I’d say just watch the first one, which is probably the most interesting and kind of ambiguous about Kersey’s actions. Also, Jeff Goldblum as part of a racially-integrated gang!
D.A.R.E. to keep the kids off drugs. D.A.R.E. to keep the kids off dope. D.A.R.E. to give the kids some help. D.A.R.E. to give the kids some hope.
Help us (we really need your help, yeah) Help us (we really need your help YEAH)
D.A.R.E!
I was a D.A.R.E. kid too, and I had the shirt and the graduation.
Death Wish 3 is so amazing, it’s just not even funny.
DW3 is the best of the series…well, perhaps not best, but definitely the most entertaining.
I saw DW4 once and haven’t really thought of it since, but 3 I’ve seen several times.
“Teeth!”
That’s the gang one where Kersey – how do I post spoilers in WordPress, anyway?
Anyway, it was largely shot in London despite being set in NYC – and it kind of shows….
Second on the Death Wish 3: one of the few movies AMC plays neverendingly that’s a true American movie classic
If I had to speculate a reason for the extended delay until the onset of Mandom’s most famous spokeman upon this podcast, it would be that horror, sci-fi, and fantasy are the bread and butter of GME! Charles Bronson’s primary claims to fame were within the realms of the Western and the contemporary crime drama, and as it stands the most memorable roles played by the man did NOT involve him being engaged in combat with any over-sized reptiles. Rather, the snakes he seeks to wrought his vengeance upon are the ones in suits bought with blood money, for whom the harmonica ceases to play.
One can only imagine how Metal Gear, and indeed THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT, would have turned out had he played the role of Snake Plissken as originally intended.
Dear God Daryl, the mere thought of this is mind-blowing
Best episode in a while besides the Gooneys episode, The new guy is good. Keep up the good work. Also I don’t know maybe a poll or the shaq month
Notes on Death Wish IV: The Crackdown
This film mimics the plot of The Saint in New York with Louis Hayward (as well as The Saint Meets a Phantom).
