Beware of priests bearing gifts, because Surviving the Game is the Greatest Movie EVER!
No Screen-caps this time. I’m super tired.
But as a measure of compensation…
COMING SOON!

“Because Stone Cold Said So!”
The Greatest Movie EVER! Podcast
Reviewing only the finest films in the history of cinema. And robots, too.
this has been a great month so far looking forward to sarat’s musings on stone colds acting
“It’s a little fishin’ village about 40 miles north of Anchorage.”
I had a lot of friends who disputed the Steyr AUG’s portrayal in this movie. First off, I think Mythbusters pretty much disproved that jamming anything less dense than concrete would have minor effects on the gun, so stuffing cigarettes would blow out the cigarettes and the bullet, but not effect the gun.
Also, the AUG was designed for military use: Steyr-Mannlicher use to demostrate it’s durability by throwing it under a moving tank and then picking up and shooting it. Granted the Australians had some problems with their license-built AUGs, but that’s because they tried to skimp on the plastics composition.
Also, I will voice my disappointment now that you guys aren’t going to review “Series 7: The Contenters”. The Most Dangerous Month is way too short.
I have good news and bad news. I won’t say which is which; that’s up for the listeners to decide.
First, Daryl Surat was not involved in recording The Condemned Podcast. That honor went to Mike Dent of r5 Central.
Second, there are now only two weeks left of February, and I already have three additional recordings for the Most Dangerous Month (including The Condemned) and several others planned. This means, in all likelihood, that the Most Dangerous Month will continue into the Most Dangerous March. 🙂
cool. We’re probably going to do Mamet March.
The Most Dangerous Month has paved the way for you to devote the entire summer to movies where a Westerner competes in a secret martial arts tournament. Even with Bloodsport already off the table, Jean-Claude alone could still account for pretty much an entire month of material. And the various Kickboxer sequels and rip-offs are, I believe, their own official genre at this point.
Aw crap, now all of a sudden I want to watch The Quest again.
Jean-Claude’s many and myriad roles always confuse me so much. Is a a smuggler or a thief in that one?
To all ICE-T + Gary Busy movie lovers.
Did you know that the dynamic duo has starred together in another gem? Yes it’s called, “If Love Hadn’t Left Me Lonely” and it will be available on DVD on 5/27/08. I recommend we all watch it. It has to be amazing!
Good Show & keep up the great work. I try to start my work week off with this podcast every monday.
I can’t believe you guys did Gymkata! That movie is awesome in its horribleness
Keith, why in God’s name would you WANT to subject yourself to the rotten cheese smell that is “the Quest”?
On another note, I find myself hypnotized by F Murray Abraham’s weird scream. I was hypnotized it in Star Trek Insurrection and I’ve been hypnotized by it again watching the clip posted for this podcast.
You guys forgot to mention Mos Def in your Rappers-to-Actors I think he has done a pretty good job, I liked him as Ford Prefect…Good choice (my original choice would have been Kevin Spacey a few years back) and he looks like he will be good in Be Kind Rewind, but I did HATE his voice in 16 Blocks
I totaly forgot about this movie and how awesome it was. Thanks Paul for the awesome Podcast, Brought back some memories of the movie.
