Okay, guess I’d better listen to this one, Paul…..

Don’t be scared Tim, we all need more wonderful Umberto Lenzi cheese in our lives.

I’m surprised you didn’t bring up a comment attributed to Richard Matheson, in part because of the premise of I Am Legend, that a zombie story is essentially the logical conclusion of a vampire story, since the vampire will feed on hosts, creating new vampires which then feed on hosts, et al until there’s no hosts left, unless there’s some Blade/Daybreakers “blood farms” or 30 Days Of Night “harvest season while killing the hosts to prevent new vamps” going on.

Also, totally see the opening as where Guillermo del Toro getting the idea of how to open The Strain franchise with.

Invid Ninja – I prefer Lucio Fulci cheese, frankly, as it’s a bit more varied in its textures.

Though the thought of Umberto Lenzi directing a rom-com does bring a smile to my face – particularly the thought of Gerard Butler suddenly trying to eat Sandra Bullock’s arm during a love scene!

  5. Óscar says:

Well, about the zombies/not zombies controversy, in Spain we have no doubt. Here this movie is known as La invasión de los zombies atómicos. I believe no translation is necesary…
