Not to be confused with “Funky Town”.

Gas up the 1967 Chevy Impala, because Phantom Town (also known as Spooky Town) is the Greatest Movie EVER!

Click on the VHS box cover or the title above to download our review of the film, featuring Sean “Hollywood” Hunting.

Review in a Nutshell: As far as low budget, “Weird West” children’s films about a suburban family succumbing to the depredations of an unspeakable Lovecraftian eldritch horror go, Phantom Town isn’t bad. Okay, it’s actually pretty bad, but its bizarre premise alone makes it worth watching at least once.

Gas up the chainsaw, because Army of Darkness is the Greatest Movie EVER!

Review in a Nutshell: Although the theatrical cut of Army of Darkness suffers from the choppy final edit foisted upon the film by the studio, the 3rd movie in The Evil Dead series is still the funniest and most easily accessible entry, and it stands out as a fun throwback to an age of practical special effects from the days before the ascension of CG.

Let your freak flag fly, because Nightbreed is the Greatest Movie EVER!

Click on the Bluray cover or the title above to download our review of the film, featuring ‘Internet Terrorist’ Tom Pandich and Violence Jill.

Review in a Nutshell: Clive Barker is a weird dude and Canada is a strange place in this dark fantasy / supernatural romance that was originally miss-advertised as a slasher flick. The Director’s Cut of Nightbreed is a superior version of the film in nearly every respect, although Paul still has his reservations.  See the film for its imaginative make-up effects and grim sense of humor.

Review in a Nutshell:  The very definition of Z-grade Italian zombie knock-off films, Nightmare City is one of those films that just you have to experience to truly understand.

Review in a Nutshell: Frenetic, funny, and action-packed, Versus is a genre-bending action / horror / Yakuza picture with a mystic twist. It’s an independent movie with a small budget and a big heart.
