Review in a Nutshell: Nihilistic, cynical, and achingly sincere, Righting Wrongs (1986) is a modern masterpiece of action cinema that boasts exceptional composition, cinematography, and fight choreography. It’s also completely bonkers, from a narrative standpoint.

To think that Ninja in the Dragon’s Den podcast where I recommended Righting Wrongs with the caveat that it’d be tough for listeners to track down was only a year ago. Now the movie is available streaming and on Blu-Ray. Glad to see this movie I’ve talked up for decades is now readily accessible, and that people are enjoying it! Plus, it’s not an isolated event: a restored transfer of Yes, Madam! comes out in just a few months.
