Listened to the podcast and I gotta say, trying to watch softcore porn with your mom is a little creepy. Good for her for having the decency to back out. Fine episode though. Made me remember when I was a teenager and I would rent low budget horror movies all the time in the hopes that there would be nudity. Ah, youth.
In my defense, Ollie watched the XXX-version of this film that only exists in one weird, unauthorized European cut that doesn’t reflect Luigi Batzella’s true artistic vision. The version I watched is chock full of nudity and sexual situations, but it’s so bizarre and strange that it doesn’t really qualify as softcore anything. Mom would have loved the film, especially the bit with the pipe-cleaner spider, if I had been able to convince her to watch it.
Geez, Paul – you tried to get your Mom to watch this with you?
