Beware of 3DTV, because Batman Forever is the Greatest Movie EVER!
Click on the movie poster or the title above to download our review of the film, featuring Tom Pandich.
Review in a Nutshell: The beginning of the end for the first series of Batman films, Batman Forever features some eerie set design and cool costuming, but an incomplete narrative and a wildly inconsistent tone tends to drag the film down.

Fire up your radio watch, because Dick Tracy is the Greatest Movie EVER!
Click on the Bluray cover or the title above to download our review of the film, featuring Katherin the Great.
Review in a Nutshell: Top notch special effects make-up and innovative production design can’t salvage a film whose narrative is muddled and murky and whose tone varies wildly from scene to scene. Disney’s answer to Batman (1989), Dick Tracy is more interesting as a cultural artifact than as pleasant viewing experience.

Hold on to your carefully sharpened sais, because Daredevil (2003) is (probably not) the Greatest Movie EVER!
Click on the movie poster or the title above to download our review of the film, featuring Daryl Surat of Anime Word Order.
Review in a Nutshell: Critically savaged when it was originally released, we maintain that Daredevil – especially The Director’s Cut – is not as bad as you remember it being, although that may be considered damning with faint praise.

Light up your cigar, because Howard the Duck is (definitely not) the Greatest Movie EVER!
Click on the movie poster or the title above to download our review of the film,
featuring Sean ‘Hollywood’ Hunting and Rachel Pandich of Skin Crawling Comics.
Review in a Nutshell: A terrible mish-mash of raunchy adult comedy with family-friendly summer adventure movie, Howard the Duck is legendarily bad. How it managed to garner a cult following despite its numerous flaws continues to confound explanation. Rachel and Sean love it, though.

Don’t let anyone remove the firing pin from your pistol, because Bullet to the Head is the Greatest Movie EVER!
Click on the movie poster or the title above to download our review of the film, featuring Mom.
Review in a Nutshell: In terms of tone, narrative, and characterization, Bullet to the Head is an atavism – a throwback to an earlier time period. It’s also an unlikely hybrid of hard-boiled crime drama and buddy-cop action film. Some of it works, some of it doesn’t, but Bullet is worth examining if only to see how drastically modern film sensibilities have changed.

Come on out of your shell, because Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze is (probably not) the Greatest Movie EVER.
Review in a Nutshell: This one’s a bloodbath. I believe Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze is a bad movie that does not hold up to starry-eyed childhood nostalgia. My co-hosts disagree. I get to write these blurbs, though, so I WIN! MWA HA HA!

Click on the movie poster or the title above to download our review of the podcast,
featuring Gerald Rathkolb, Mike Dent, and Evan Minto.
Review in a Nutshell: A cinematic disaster on multiple levels, Dragonball: Evolution nonetheless has glimmers of competence that make for an entertaining, if cringe-inducing, viewing.

Break out your Tumblr bingo card, because Scott Pilgrim vs the World may not be the Greatest Movie EVER!
Click on the movie poster or the title above to download our review of the film, featuring Tom and Rachel Pandich.
Review in a Nutshell: A technically adept film with outstanding visual composition and moments of genuine humor, Scott Pilgrim vs the World is nonetheless dragged under by an onslaught of unsympathetic characters. It is the triumph of style over substance.

Fire up the Batsignal, because Batman (1989) is the Greatest Movie EVER!
Click on the DVD cover or the title above to download our review of the film, featuring Sean ‘Hollywood’ Hunting.
Review in a Nutshell: Batman (1989) is an uneven, sometimes idiosyncratic film that in some sense set the pattern for later superhero movies, for good or for ill. Although the Nolan films have eclipsed the work of Tim Burton and his cast and crew in the pop culture consciousness, this version of Batman was instrumental in reintroducing the Dark Knight to an entire generation of movie-goers.
